Went to find a bear but found a bird instead...

Well, there are plenty of bears out there these days, but we didn't find one tonight.

We went on a couple of trails and on our way back to the car we saw this Lesser Yellowlegs in the Mendenhall River.

(I googled it)

It is a really loud bird and there was a dog that REALLY wanted to catch it, but didn't want to go into the water, so the bird was safe for today :)Too cute.
