Sitka Black Tail Buck

The last few weeks have been wonderful, but today we went over 80° - a rare event for Juneau. Mike & I took a wonderful motorcycle drive out to Eagle Beach and along the way we got a surprise visit from this fellow:

He still has velvet on his antlers for now, but hopefully we are able to get another picture when they are grown all the way in. Mike is hoping to get to see him through the scope of his rifle...we will have to see how that turns out.
