Chocolate Lilies

We finally got a chance to see some chocolate lilies on our hike yesterday afternoon. We were on a hiking trail just outside of downtown on Mt. Juneau and these flowers were along the trail. They are a small lily with a brownish color ... and they don't smell so great!

This guy kept an eye on us from a tall spruce tree near the road as we drove up to the trail.
