Chris in Juneau

We are so happy that Christopher has arrived in Juneau. He & his fiance Maeghan are here for a nice visit. So far we have gone on a tram ride up Mt. Roberts, been to the glacier, for a walk on Douglas Island, to Eagle Beach and to the end of the road. We went on a 3.5 mile hike up the East Glacier trail this afternoon and had a very nice time, then over to Eagle Beach and to the end of the road. The critters we have seen so far: 2 bears, 1 beaver, 5 porcupines, lots of ducks, seals, steller sealions, humpback whales, bald eagles, seagulls, and 2 Sitka blacktail deer.
