Brown Bear

This picture was taken on a penninsula off Lynn Canal outside of Juneau by someone Mike works with.
I understand you don't want to mess with the Brown Bears. They are sure cute to look at, but they can be very hazardous to your health!!!

A little bit of Juneau, Alaska

Our travel plans dropped us back in Juneau for just moments, but I was able to get a few photos before we got back on the ferry to head to Prince Rupert.
We made a quick stop to at Mendenhall Glacier to see the giant calvings that have been taking place in the ice and the beautiful Fall colors. Walked around the trail of time. Took a photo of the East Glacier Trail sign, although we didn't have time to hike it unfortunately. Then we headed over to Statter Harbor to walk around a bit...we even got a visit from an adorable little harbor seal. before our ferry ride on the Matanuska.
