Busy beavers

Today Mike & I went to this peaceful pond to visit some busy little beavers.

(By the way, this picture was taken at 9:00 pm tonight. The sun had not even set yet! We are well on our way to the LONG days of summer!!! Yippee)

Aren't they awesome?

Here is a tree that they are working on for a future project.

One was just swimming around and I had a chance to videotape it. I turned the camera off because he wasn't afraid of me and started swimming right up to the edge where I was standing. I have seen what they can do to a tree, so yes...I am afraid of them!

This little guy swam with an entire branch of a tree across the pond and took it under!
