Brown Bear

This picture was taken on a penninsula off Lynn Canal outside of Juneau by someone Mike works with.
I understand you don't want to mess with the Brown Bears. They are sure cute to look at, but they can be very hazardous to your health!!!

The adventure continues...

Well, it has been a while since our last posting. We have been busy...much stuff happening!!! Not to mention, I haven't been much in the mood to talk, but I need to get on-line and update. Sorry it has been so long.

Don't you just love that smile???

(Don't throw her over!!!)

We are trying to get out and see the sights as much as we can. Weekends are great if the sun is shining and we are outside non-stop! The sun is starting to go down earlier. Now it is getting dark around 10pm. Soon we will have more darkness as winter closes in, but that is okay. We are enjoying the outdoors while we have the SUN!

We have had two sad events in our famly. We lost my dad on June 28th and we lost little Ivy on July 26th. My family has been through a lot of sorrow but we love each other and we trust in God and that faith is getting us through some very difficult days. (I attached links to Dad & Ivy's pages here so you can visit their links too.)

I am attaching some photos of yet more beauty that we get to experience. It is just seriously amazing how breathtaking it is here! I can't say that enough, hope you will all get a chance to come and visit us...
