Why we didn't drive NORTH afterall...

We planned to make a trip north to Haines, AK and then driving north through the Yukon and parts of Alaska we hadn't been before. Our plans changed. It all started as we drove onto the fast ferry. We made it to Haines, and started toward the Canadian Border.Shortly after arriving in Canada the rain turned into slush.The snow started...and then it continued... and kept coming. ugh.

We turned around and started making a new plan. We decided we better head south if we wanted to get out before winter was over. Along the drive, we got to see some rock ptarmigans, and some beautiful snow covered trees, and before long we were back in Alaska.
