Brown Bear

This picture was taken on a penninsula off Lynn Canal outside of Juneau by someone Mike works with.
I understand you don't want to mess with the Brown Bears. They are sure cute to look at, but they can be very hazardous to your health!!!

Sweet little Babies in the Wild

As we walked around the trail at the glacier, we came across this little fella...eating leaves on the new growth on the forest floor. This baby porcupine was no larger than a football...so cute too. The quills are still soft and look like fur.
And - here is a picture of Alyxandra and Ted Sadtler (Mattress Ranch). He was in the mall while Mike & I were there having lunch and I had to take Aly back so she could get her picture with him. FUN - and he is so tall. 6'9" (Aly isn't short, well...maybe, she is 5'4") He didn't dance for us, but we got to chat with him for about 10 minutes, before the next person wanted a picture.
